Confidential and Personally Identifiable Information
Using CTDMS you store confidential and personally identifiable information in our service. CTDMS is committed to protecting the security of confidential and personal information. However, when using CTDMS service you should consider local regulations and laws in your country, concerning personally identifiable information. CTDMS service also allows you to use depersonalized information on your patients (e.g. use only initials and year of birth).
How we protect personal information
We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorised access and use. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, we make every reasonable effort to prevent this. To archive maximum security it is advised to use two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator. You can enable two-factor authentication in your profile settings.
Third Parties and Personally Identifiable Information
CTDMS do not share or sell any information in CDTMS to any third party for any purpose. However, CTDMS team may use third parties to provide support services. Such parties may have access to information to provide support services to us. We require anyone providing such services to adequately protect your information, and we prohibit them from using the information for their own purposes.
Account and Password
When you register in CTDMS, you will be issued an account which will have an assigned user name (email) and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user name and password.
You are responsible for all transactions, communications, and acts or omissions that occur through the use of your user name and password by you or any person or entity using a password provided to you, whether or not such access or use has been authorised by you. CTDMS will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision.
Unauthorised use of the service, including, but not limited to, unauthorised entry or attempted entry, misuse of passwords, misuse of any available information available is strictly prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall CTDMS be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages that result directly or indirectly from; (1) the use of or inability to use the service; or (2) the consequences of any decision made or action or non-action taken by you as a result of your use of the service.
