Confidential and Personally Identifiable Information

Using CTDMS you store confidential and personally identifiable information in our service. CTDMS is committed to protecting the security of confidential and personal information. However, when using CTDMS service you should consider local regulations and laws in your country, concerning personally identifiable information. CTDMS service also allows you to use depersonalized information on your patients (e.g. use only initials and year of birth).

How we protect personal information

We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorised access and use. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, we make every reasonable effort to prevent this. To archive maximum security it is advised to use two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator. You can enable two-factor authentication in your profile settings.

Third Parties and Personally Identifiable Information

CTDMS do not share or sell any information in CDTMS to any third party for any purpose. However, CTDMS team may use third parties to provide support services. Such parties may have access to information to provide support services to us. We require anyone providing such services to adequately protect your information, and we prohibit them from using the information for their own purposes.

Account and Password

When you register in CTDMS, you will be issued an account which will have an assigned user name (email) and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user name and password.

You are responsible for all transactions, communications, and acts or omissions that occur through the use of your user name and password by you or any person or entity using a password provided to you, whether or not such access or use has been authorised by you. CTDMS will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision.

Unauthorised use of the service, including, but not limited to, unauthorised entry or attempted entry, misuse of passwords, misuse of any available information available is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall CTDMS be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages that result directly or indirectly from; (1) the use of or inability to use the service; or (2) the consequences of any decision made or action or non-action taken by you as a result of your use of the service.

Download (offline-version)

Considering the needs of research sites regarding confidentiality issues we developed offline-versions of CTDMS service. You can download it from this page and install in your local network. When using offline-version of CTDMS all information remains in your LAN and never leaves it or interact with Internet (except getting updates).

System requirements for offline-version:

Server – any PC or server with MS Windows XP or later.
Client – any device with web-browser (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Androind, PC, tablets, smartphones). No additional software is required.

1. CTDMS service is installed on PC, which plays server role and serves requests from all site`s users. You can choose any PC (or real server) with MS Windows to be such server. Please consider that choosen “server” PC should stay online for other site users to operate in service (so some of the sites will require it to be online 24/7).

2. In case CDTMS service is unavailable from user`s devices in LAN please check firewall and antivirus settings – incoming connections on port 8888/TCP should be allowed on “server” PC.
